I received this novella when I signed up for GiGi Blume’s newsletter and it was super cute. This can be read as standalone but it goes along with her Backstage Romance series.

This novella centers around Anne de Bourgh and Garrett Townshend. My Pride & Prejudice lovers may recognize this name. This book takes a modern day stab at the potential love story of Anne. All of Blume’s Backstage Romance books are inspired by the wonderful Jane Austin. I have the prequel novella in my ebooks app and I can’t wait to read it and start the series after reading this novella.

This story was so cute. At first I thought this was going to be some type of Cowboy romance which isn’t my style but it definitely was not that. I’m definitely excited to read more of Blume’s work and I would recommend this for a cute fun romantic read.
