Audiobook.
I enjoyed the story arch of the characters. So much happened in this story. Great wrap up for this series. (Assuming it’s the end)

This is the perfect ending to this series! It has everything: love and death and gods and magic and pirates and secrets and portals. While I am not sure anything will beat the perfection of the first book, it's still pretty damn good. VE Schwab is a must-read.

This entire series was a disappointment which is really sad because it had a LOT of potential. The magic system was amazing, but the characters were lack luster (other than Alucard) and the villain was confusing af.
The last book could’ve been 300 pages shorter, and the only interesting thing that happened was a random side quest to a pirate black market? Idk.
I still don’t understand the villains motivation and that is shocking because it took a 500 page battle to defeat said villain

Ate this book up immediately after finishing Book #2. My favorite character will always be Holland - he made a far more intriguing character than Kell and Bard combined. In fact, I’d say that all the side characters were more interesting than the two protagonists.
