⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🔥 not the spice level that I’m used to (but didn’t feel like more would make it better. It didn’t need more, enough for the characters and don’t take over the plot)
I feel so lucky to have been sent a ARC copy of this book. Thank you Brittany! ❤️
If you like a reverse grumpy sunshine with mmc golden retriever vibes and mental health representation with romance sprinkled all around then this is your type of book.
I’m not normally a fan of slow burns but this one didn’t make me want to throw my kindle across the room and yell at the book to jsut get on with it.
The depth of Addison life and struggles propelled this book and hit my heart in a way a book hasn’t for a while. The rawness and realness of this book of Addison experience and life, what she has to go through everyday really hit home. I haven’t read a romance book that represents depression and anxiety like this in ages.
There is a second act break up which I’m also not the biggest fan of. It didn’t drag out unnecessarily but I could take it or leave it.
Probably why I gave 4 ⭐️ and also took me a few chapters to get into it and really feel the characters. But once I got into it I loved them all both the friendship circles.
Can’t wait for book 2!!
