Quick and easy read that still gets you in the end. Just a little stab.

Honestly I feel a little mean but I think I’ve just outgrown this particular book. I usually like YA but this one felt a little too immature for me in terms of both writing and depth. I perhaps just wanted more than it was going to give me. Some of the moments were nice, but I think the pacing was meh and I wasn’t totally invested in the characters either.

I think if I read this at 15 I would’ve liked it more but alas. I’m still glad I read it but I have little to no interest in reading the other books.

Loved the premise and the characters, although the writing style wasn't my absolute favourite. Adam Silvera really understands how to tug on your heartstrings though and this book did make me sob uncontrollably.
