Thought provoking little book, caught my eye on the new shelf at my library
informative reflective fast-paced

???????

‘A stupid person is a person who caused losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.’ wow

A funny little book that's really more pamphlet-size than you might expect. Took maybe 30 minutes to read, what with all the graphs and blank space. But it does tell a good story of stupidity and the nefarious nature thereof. I have long accepted the wisdom in embracing the idea that one should "never ascribe to malevolence what can be explained by stupidity," and consider that fundamental assumption as a sort of shield against the paranoia and suspicions that seem to be in the air.

To be honest I already read this book but I wanted to read the forward and I reread it.
Both are full of food for thought because this book is a satire that perfectly describes the human nature and the different type of stupid people.
It's a fast read, entertaining and I always liked how the author mixes economy and sociology in order to classify the different type of stupids.
An interesting and useful read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I really loved this. It was equally entertaining as it was interesting/informative and factual. It’s nice and short but i wished there was more. I really recommend reading it.

My new bible. I only wish it were longer.

this seems like an incredibly flawed system to rate stupid people but... sure, why not.
