We had to read this for English and I absolutely hate compulsory reads. However, the story wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's not something I would pick myslef as a normal read but I don't regret reading it.

Another good outing from Grisham, if not quite on the level of The Firm, The Racketeer or The Broker.
Told in the first person, the lead in this is a high flying lawyer who's live is turned upside down. Some interesting characters, and a thought provoking story - despite it's age, the book is still relevant. It would be interesting to know why Grisham was motivated to write this, as it feels a bit different from his usual legal thrillers (I have not read the non-legal stuff).
Well worth a read, but just below his best.

A big shot young lawyer leaving behind one hell of a fortune - from a million dollar antitrust lawyer to a mere thousands dollar street lawyer- to fight for the betterment of homeless. The story couldn't be better!
Unputdownable.

I just Love reading Grisham! Street lawyer didn't disappoint. It had that sense of excitement that's characteristics of John Grisham novels.
Read it in one sitting!

Great beach reading and, as always, a Grisham page-turner.
