cute story

I love a good second chance romance. Madison and J were meant for each other but being so young they had a lot of work through. One thing I loved about this story was that there was no other woman drama. It’s a pretty common thing with MC series, but there wasn’t any and it’s nice to see a couple fight so hard to be together because of other personal issues. Spice was also *chefs kiss*

My first MC novel and I was hooked from the beginning. A second-chance romance with just a touch of steam.

I thought it was poorly written, the story was all over the place. I had to force myself to finish reading the story. just hope the rest of the series isn't like that

Storm is an incredible debut book for Nina Levine! It is a strong solid story with powerful characters and complex storyline..It’s well written and actually very delicious, too!!!

If you enjoy reading about alpha males and overbearing possessive stubborn sexy men, Storm is your to-go book! Hands down!

Storm definitely deserves its 5 stars! There’s no doubt about it!! But I would like to have more scenes with J questioning Madison about her life..What she’s been up to these 2 years they weren’t talking..I would like him to ask more about her friends, to show a bit more interest in that part of her life in general..Another thing I noticed was that towards the ending the pace of the book changed a bit..J and Madison threw themselves into a relationship without even thinking about it..They acted a tad hastily and the whole dynamic changed..I would like it to be more gradual..But I also think that they have wasted enough time, as it is…

So, needless to say that I could not put it down! I kept reading it until I finished it..It was very addictive and I really really liked that!

Let’s talk about our characters a bit..

>>Madison is a stubborn, independent, fierce and strong young woman..Her life hasn’t been easy..And being such an alpha female didn’t help her situation at all, considering her environment…After a tragic incident, everything fell apart in her life, including herself..She lost her friends and her boyfriend..She lost herself drowning in self-hatred and guilt..And things went even worse..With her heart broken, she leaves for a new chapter and builds her life around wonderful people! But Madison hasn’t seen it all yet..Tragedy hits her door once more leaving her with questions about herself, the club, her family and J..She’s confused but determined..

She’s lost her balance a few times in her life..But what I love about her is that she comes back to her feet..Standing tall and ready to take the world..She may not always feel confident, but she always seems that way..It doesn’t let her down..No..It brings her up..She’s fiercely determined and strong! Madison is an amazing character!

>>J is a loyal man..However, he put the club and “revenge” first and he left Madison third..He didn’t really believe in her in the past..He let her down and he managed to break them both by doing that..And he acts a bit like an asshole throughout the book…He is the typical alpha male..The possessive, overbearing kind..I didn’t love him, but I liked him enough..

For me, Madison is the star of the book!! What can I say? I love my fearless women!!

In conclusion, Storm is a great book and it proves that Nina Levine is going to hang around for a while..A Long while, I may add..She wrote a sexy good story with amazing storyline full of suspense…And her characters draw your attention like no one else does…

This was a great first introduction to the Storm world. They are all crazy but the love like crazy. Madison is badass but with a soft spot inside. J is a tough guy but he loves Madison. Their love isn’t easy and they both know that but it is worth it. This is a great story. There is love, and action. I love all the other characters and can’t wait to see where they all go.

Just an FYI: I have no idea when I finished this book. I just remembered that I never added it as read to my goodreads list...

What I liked, was that two people who had falling out could get back together and make things work, despite the issues. What I didn't like, was what an asshole Jay was when it came to Madison having a relapse. Addicts/Substance Abusers they relapse. Making them feel like shit about it isn't at all helpful. It actually makes them feel worse, and drives them to continue to relapse.

SPOILER ALERT

I think it would have been more interesting, emotionally, if Jay had died. But that's me and my love of tragedy.

This is the first book in an MC series and i loved it The characters, plot, everything was so believable. Their emotions so real and raw. I loved that it is set in Australia . I can’t wait to continue reading the next instalments in this series
