Andrew Joseph White did not disappoint with his second book and i absolutely will be reading everything else he does. The multiple twists at the end had me screaming and frothing at the mouth. He makes it so easy to fall in love with and empathize with the characters, their rage and fear and love all felt like my own.

I liked the characters, but I did feel that the main character being very in their head slowed the book down. It would break up dialogue and create paragraphs of internal thought then some repetitive-ness
