It’s insane what this book can do to its readers… I got into a very dark mood while reading it. It’s very surprising but it really plays with your anger in a shocking way.

'Wuthering Heights' as a story reflects the nature of its setting: gloomy and tumultuous. It is ultimately a tale of revenge - whether it is justified is for the reader to decide. I was warned against this novel that none of the characters are likeable, and while that is for the most part true, the beautiful writing and engaging story-telling makes it clear why 'Wuthering Heights' is considered a classic. Absolutely worth a read!
