This is the fourth book of the Plated Prisoner Series and it did not disappoint! The beginning of the book is a whirlwind of emotions and just hoping everything doesn’t go south, but thats what happens at the end in the best way possible!

Auren is broken after all the trials and tribulations she has gone through but she is tired of constantly having be saved, she wants to become her own savior. Will she be able to step up and become the woman she was always meant to be? Or will she be scared of the power she wields forever?

the last like 200 pages are not bad but pls tell me why we spent 400 pages of auren just ignoring everything and all her problems like it got so repetitive. also the smut scenes made me want to end my own life raven please stop.

i couldnt figure out why i keep picking these books up even though i genuinely despise this series and its because raven kennedy knows how to write a damn ending. it makes me want to find out what happens even though the majority of the book is spent cringing at word choices and awkward grammar structures as well as poor pacing.

Not entirely sure why this series gets as much praise as it does since the writing is pretty rough, but I will give credit where credit is due. I took two stars off for the abysmal grammar and awkward word choice because it really takes me out of the story. I took another star off for how long this book was with how little really happened. I am giving a star back because THAT ENDING.

I like the premise of this series which keeps bringing me back for more, but I truly hope the author gets a better editor.

Pacing felt a little slow in the first third of the book but once it got going, I flew through it! I can’t wait to see what happens next with so many reveals and cliffhangers and I’m almost afraid to read Gold now when I have to wait months for Goldfinch!
