whimsically magical & kinda spicy
Ok I guess I didn’t review this upon my first read back in August 2021, my bad! I re-read it to prepare for book and I really enjoyed it all over again but wasn’t keeping heavy tabs bc I just needed a refresher before diving into the conclusion.
I really like Brie and the other characters more than I remember (I actually really enjoyed the goblins lmao) and feel like I connected more with them - I really felt the camaraderie between Brie & Finn’s band of misfits! I actually liked both love interests (until a certain point) but Finn takes the cake for me 🤤.
The ending thoooooo!!! Can’t wait for book two out tomorrow !
