I expected a lot more insight from this book. Greene recycles the same historical figures as examples in all his books which grows tiring. While it was interesting to think about how our brains naturally react to people’s actions in romantic pursuits, it seemed to fizzle out. The archetypes at the beginning were fun.

Alot of things are repeated and well first half of the book was the most interesting and informative the rest of the book was like ... Extension of first half book words, duh. Anyways I finished it regardless. First half is like a worth read tbh. I got to know lot of things I never thought I would and I really never observed stuff like that ever before. I unraveled lot of my personally traits as well that I didn't know were there. It's a 3/5 read for me.

The book is amazing though hard to digest. The information presented in a great precision through the use of historical examples. However, sometimes I feel the techniques in this book are too cruel to be used.

The Art of Manipulation should have been the title

I can't be the only person who thought that the 'secrets' explored in this book were just common knowledge. Nothing groundbreaking, unfortunately.

Well written and intelligent book. In theory all these tactics would work.. but it’s truly awful to think of using them.

I was unsure about reading this when I found out who the author was, I purchased 48 powers of law a few months back, read the first page and it gave narcissist hand book. The art of seduction is interesting a decent read it also gives a slight narcissist hand book vibe but it's interesting and worth a read, I might give 48 a read just to check it out and say that I read it.
