this was kind of pure evil ?? only started reading cos i used to work in a bookshop and the amount of people that bought this.. my curiosity got the best of me.
This was so funny and amusing. I found it insightful but then again I think seduction is temporary compared to love. It keeps things entertaining but much like every other non-fiction books, I will forget most of the content and just remember how absurd I thought the content was to be published in a book format. I do believe the examples and stories makes it a lengthy collection and thus worthy of 4 stars. Would recommend it to whoever is interested in reality TV shows or analyzing personalities.
literally the dumbest book ever i had to stop reading bc i genuinely believe that it was having negative effects on my health. this book gave me covid. also it was horrible and such outdated stereotypes ab women and biphobic dumb stuff. please don’t take any of the advice from this book any good person in your life would never talk to you again because you are insufferable…
what the fuck did I just read. This is basically a step by step guide on how to manipulate people and treat them like prey to be hunted. Not really sure what I expected lol
It's non-fiction, I really tried to get through it, but I realised it's just not my thing
This was interesting from a psychological standpoint I think it may be beneficial to go back an reread if physically to better comprehend what he is really saying in depth.
I thought this book might offer a more nuanced perspective on ‘seduction’, or offer an interesting discussion about seductions role between people (or even products or politics). No, it’s entirely sexual. And outright encourages ‘she really DOES want you, keep pushing’ rape culture.
DNF’ed at that point, if you’re looking for an interesting or nuanced analysis of seduction and its role in our present society, you won’t get it. Instead you’ll get a lot of “look sexy, act sexy”.
