Interesting take on pursuing and being pursued- boarders manipulation if not used with good intention.

Another banger from Robert Greene. This is not a self-help book. It’s about how, for the most part, certain women in history have used seduction to intimately get what they want, and how they did that in their own unique ways. I love historical support and Robert always delivers with excess.

I didn't read the book description before reading this book so that's on me. This book describes using seduction as manipulation. As a decent human and also not a genius spy, I'll never be using any of the advice in this book. I guess I at least have more information on what to look out for in manipulative people I guess.

Some Joe Goldberg type shit

While very fascinating, the content is overly repetitive to a point where it becomes tedious. The sprawling text in the margins was also distracting because the lines run multiple pages, necessitating a back and forth style of reading which causes you to lose place.

Then again, maybe it's the author's way of "gaming" the reader.

Not what I was expecting
