I have the opportunity to read How to Kill a Lady Boner. So this is my review.

"Why on earth would they give a man with that voice, this dick, and an insanely magnetic pull over me, a mother fucking beard?"

Yup this story is about beard. About the Beast who owns the beard and the girl who hates the beard. It sounds silly right, but this is happen. For some people, including me, beards is not a turn on, although some men look hot with beard, so yeah I really love the concept of this book.
And it's pretty short, so it left me wanting more.

Love the characters.
I really connected with these characters. I can feel their struggles.
The Beast, well no need for explanation, he's The Beast, hot Beast, you really need to meet this Beast.
Livy, well I totally understand her dilemma, she loves the Beast but beard is a turn off for her.

You have to read this, to know what will happen to this couple.

Definitely can't wait to read all the stories from this anthology.

I was lucky to be able to voluntarily review Talking to the Moon, a story by Jeannine Colette for this anthology. I just love anthologies. Who doesn't like to read some short stories every once and awhile. This anthology is going to be so fun with all the bearded beauties! This story was amazing because it's hard to get attached to characters in short stories sometimes (at least I have that problem) but I had no problem getting to know Jules and Jameson. Jeannine did a great job of explaining their past and their feelings so that by the time I was done reading, I felt as though I read a full length novel. Looking forward to reading more of these stories!

Hey my review for How to Kill a Lady Boner......
I don't know how many of you are familiar with Ms. Gray's work but she is phenomenal... you on the end of your seat begging for more ....... I love the title. And I love her characters. She has a great imagination if that what it is. It may be her life in which case I want in.... Graham oh how I love thee!!!! I hope there is more to come

Three of my favorite authors contributed to this anthology; Leslie McAdam, Jerica MacMillan, and Alexis Alvarez. And I got a sneak read of their gorgeous stories! I’ve preordered my copy of Because Beards and can’t wait to read the rest.

Thou Shalt Not Beard by Leslie McAdam gave me the nostalgic fuzzy feels with a story starring Ryan and Amelia from The Sun and the Moon. Amelia’s wedding jitters antics will have you laughing out loud. Ryan’s love, understanding, and sexy ways will have you swooning. Leslie is brilliant at creating charismatic characters readers can’t help but connect with. And, as I usually do at the end of Leslie’s books, I was all teary-eyed. In the best way!

Opening Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is a yummy prequel to her latest Players of Marycliff University release, Managed Hearts. I loved seeing how Matt and Hannah meet for the first time! When Hannah summons the courage to approach hottie surf instructor Matt it sparks a reaction that’s sweet and intense. Jerica’s heroes have a great combo of effortlessly sexy, warmhearted, all-consuming passion when they meet their “it” girl. Her heroines are intelligent, funny, stand up for what they believe in, and never throw hissy fits. Thank you! You’ll definitely want to continue reading Matt and Hannah’s story after you finish Opening Hearts.

Fortune Favors the Beard by Alexis Alvarez is adorable, hilarious, steamy, and just damn delicious! The fortune cookie angle is brilliantly creative and lots of fun. Arie has the perfect amount of charm and snark to melt Carter’s stick-up-the-butt attitude, making these two perfect for each other. And the dialogue is oh so entertaining! I loved every beardy bit of this story.

Are you a pogonophile? I definitely am. Show me a book boyfriend with a beard and I will start drooling. Give me an anthology dedicated to beards and I will grab ahold with both hands and feet. I was stoked to be getting the Because Beards anthology. Not just because well…beards but also because the proceeds go to charity. All proceeds go to The Movember Foundation, a great group that supports charities in the research and treatment of prostate and testicular cancer.

I’ve read only a few of the stories so far (a trip to the ER had time running short) but oh my goodness. There are some sweet, sassy females and some swoon worthy men in these pages. I love the humor as well. There’s a little bit of everything in here. Romance, sexy, sweet, flirty, funny—you name it you can probably find it within these pages. There are also all flavors of book boyfriends inside—they all just have one thing in common. Beards. It was the perfect thing to keep my mind off the election woes!

So if you’re looking for something short and sweet to read, definitely pick this up and help support The Movember Foundation while you’re at it.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received a copy of Fortune Favors the Beard from Alexis Alvarez from this anthology in exchange for an honest review.

As an entrepreneur that owns her own specialty bakeshop in the Windy City, Arie does not have the time to wait for someone to move out of the doorway of the local market, no matter how gorgeous he is. Mr. tall, dark, and bearded allows her to pass following a brief verbal spar. Despite their spark of attraction, Arie runs back to her bakery before she can get bearded's number. What are the chances that they would meet again in such a large city?

The alternating first person narrative was done beautifully. I love to know what makes a character tick, and Ms. Alvarez is a master at this. At it's heart, it was a fun short read with humor, sexy scenes, and a happy ending.

The happiest part of all? This is part of an anthology whose proceeds will go to the Mowvember Foundation to support male cancers.

I received an ARC of Asshole Calling by Maria Monroe from this anthology in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed the unconventional way that the main characters (Tessa and Ben) met, and the even more unusual way in which they were brought together again. Watching their natural chemistry grow was a fun journey- I only wish it had been longer. Ahem, ahem please make that happen Maria. Please?

Because Beards is an anthology for charity, and it brings together amazing authors in one place. It's a chance to find some of your favorite authors and get to know some new ones as well. If you like quick reads that are fun, well-written, and at times steamy, then this is the book for you. And the bonus part, you are getting an anthology of several stories and helping charity at the same time. This is a 5 star read and something that has to be one clicked today!!

I'm not going to review all of the contributions, but I will talk about three of my favorites. First up, Thou Shalt Not Beard by Leslie McAdam. This was funny and quirky, and kept me reading until the end. A woman comes home from a two week bachelorette trip to find her fiance has grown a beard. GASP! How dare he! She wants him to shave and he refuses. Maybe there is more at play than just the beard, but maybe not. Read to find out exactly what happens with these two.

Next up, No Joke by Kacey Shea. "A cover model, a photographer, and a romance writer all walk into a bar." Jokes on you that it's not a joke. I loved this story. The author writes about romance, but finds herself lacking in that department. Will she stay like that? Or will a hot guy with a beard have the ability to change her luck? The story had me chuckling and anxious to turn the page. Well written, it has enough steam to keep you wanting, and I couldn't stop smiling when I read it.

Finally, The Beard Made Me Do It by Scott Hildreth. A woman is picked up by the cops for accessory to bank robbery. How does this tie in with a beard? You have to read to find out. What i can tell you is that after you read the first page, you have to keep reading to find out what happens next! It's a necessity.

All of the stories will satisfy you and are quick to read for when you don't have a lot of time to finish a story. The bonus, it's for charity. One click your copy today!!

This is one of those books that I always keep on my kindle. I can pick and choose what story I want to read to make my day a little bit better. There is great collection of authors contributing to the anthology. There is something for everyone.

NO JOKE by Kacey Shea

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Romance writer Manda is on a dry spell..a Sahara like dry spell. Her  characters are getting far more action than she is. For Pete's sake, she's watch her cover model hook up right this moment.

Can the hottie bearded bartender break the spell?

Wild Proposal by Angelita Gill

Your boss and secret crush goes off the grid, so you deal, because a week is no problem.

Two weeks.
Three
A month.
Two freaking months with no end in sight. He's not returning your calls or answering your emails.

Desperate to verify proof of life and give him a big piece of her mind, Antonia tracks him down. But that's just the beginning of her adventure and her bearded man is going to make it all worth it...

How to Kill A Lady Boner by Ace Gray

Are you one of the ones twitching because...beards? Do beards make you gag while you image the insane amount of possibilities as to what might be stuck there? Then you my dear sweet comrade need to read this story.  I tackled and gagged and got embarrassingly hot reading the naughty shenanigans in this one.

Even the beard lovers have to agree, you know it's hot!

Fortune Favors the Beard by Alexis Alvarez

Confucius says...I don't freaking know but mistakes and accidents happen you just have to make the best of them.

Not sure which is worse meeting the hottest guy ever and leaving without his name or number...or seeing him again after you have made a major mistake. Yeah, not sure but never fear Alexis Alvarez will show you exactly how to handle it.

The Beard Made Me Do It by Scott Hildreth

It's true the beard really did make her do it. Fun, definitely naughty and totally worth the read. But what did she do...?
Read it...see if you'd do it too.

To Beard Or Not To Beard by J. Quist

With every new story, I swing closer to the same decision Roxy made. Which decision, you ask? Whether to beard or not to beard, of c course.

Happy reading this tension filled treat.

Scruff You by Faith Andrews

When you pissed off the hipster hottie, you never know what to expect. Somehow "SCRUFF YOU" was never what Ezra expected...but then neither was she.

Theirs to Protect by Renee Rose

I wasn't sure it was possible but the farther I go in this anthology the more I likey. And momma likey lots.

Holy shit that was smoking hot! I have never read anything by Renee before but I will now. I love engage stories and this one sure does deliver.

Let me explain:
Sexually frustrated lawyer
Two smoking hot cops

Enough said, now read it. Wow, I need a cold shower.

One Kiss by Martha Sweeney

One kiss
Two chance meetings

Could it be more?
You don't know his name. You know nothing but the feel of her lips. But those that is enough to consume your thoughts...

Asshole Calling by Maria Monroe

When an asshole calls, do you answer? As tempting as it is, do you or do you brush it off?
Tessa couldn't brush it off. She tried to but well....he was hot.

Talking to the Moon by Jeannine Collette

Leaving. She's leaving but has to say something because tomorrow she'll be gone. Time to say something or leave always wondering...

Thou Shalt Not Beard by Leslie McAdam

Not cool, days before the wedding he grows a scraggly beard!!!! Why?!?! He doesn't have permission.

Amelia is having a tough time adjusting to the new face fuzz on Ryan. Or is it more? Will it be to beard do we part?

Background Noise by RC Martin

You want sweet and sexy, then Background Noise will make you smile. It will also give you the giddy school girl giggles. Make you warm from the inside out as long as you be brave!

Small town girl and a man that she can't get off her mind
An attraction that defies all sense...everything else is Background Noise.

Rough and Reckless by Hailey Caiman

I was actually surprised that this is the first MC book in the anthology. Figured beards...bikers...naughty fun

Well, enjoy this good girl and an MC Prospect getting into more than they bargained for. But definitely no regrets!

First Class Distraction by Ruthie Henrick

Well hello hot stuff! I might have trouble next time I get on a plane. I'm never in first class but that was as Hell of a distraction!
Wow, I definitely need to fly this airline in the future!

Opening Hearts by Jerica MacMillan

I feel likely a sneaky cheat because I just read Managed Hearts so I know where this goes. But for you all that haven't, it's a sneak peek at the beginning of a...tense situation.

Hometown Prince by Evie Lauren

I'm in love with the Hometown Prince. Every girl dreams about the best friend...the guy who has been by your side for everything. Yeah, it's hot and sexy and sweet- if only he felt the same way.
Lucky for her!

All or Nothing by M. Andrews

Well it seems M. Andrews likes the boys in blue too.  Hot cop visiting a bakery for donuts might have led to a chuckle if it weren't for the absolute feel of sex rolling off of him from the get go. Wow oh wow, I would love to be his.

Confessions of a Beard Lover by Adrienne Perry

Talk about clusterf@ck.
Daisy is struggling to meet a promise.
Chase is in a hurry.
They shouldn't meet but they do.
They should definitely not be having this conversation...

Talk about steamy and taboo...oh, but really not taboo...
Such a fun and wild turn of events

Eternal Embrace by Thomas Sweeney

Not sure what to make of this story. It was very different from the others.

Highland Pursuits by Emmanuelle De Maupassant

Highland hottie
Naughty needs
Young debutante

Just the kind of wicked fun your mother warned you against!

I had the chance to read First Class Distraction by Ruthie Henrick, and wow! HOT! Sophie and Blake have some serious chemistry going on! I can't wait for more, both with Blake and Sophie and Beards!
