The last Ruth Galloway and its nice to see all the old characters back again. This centres round a cold case when a skeleton is found behind a wall in an ex cafe. Who is it? How did she get there? Will Nelson solve the case? Will Ruth get herself into some kind of trouble? Will the relationship between Ruth and Nelson resolve itself? We know the answers to these questions but as always its the journey. It's brilliantly written and you get really immersed in the characters. Whilst I'm sorry that its the last we'll see of Ruth I can see why its the last. Quite often authors go on for far too long with a series and it gets ridiculous. The historical places mentioned are so engaging that I'm now planning a trip to see some of them.
