I flew through this book and enjoyed it! I think I liked the first one better but this one was still a lot of fun!
I did think the ending was a little rushed. Felt like it was lacking something. Though, I’m not sure what.
Definitely looking forward to book 3 though!

Graphic: Rape, Sexual assault, Pregnancy
“I think when I get married,” he said softly, “I want to get married at dawn.”
“But no one’s awake at dawn,” I laughed, even though the words nearly got stuck in my throat, tangled in the emotion there.
He didn’t laugh. He held my gaze.
Firm and steady. Sure.
“You are. You always are.” His hand drifted over my side to my stomach, spreading his fingers possessively like he’d done so many times before. “And I have a feeling you’ll be the only one who matters.”
This is like a warm hug in book form. Gemma and Noah's story is as sweet as it gets, starting from their adorable roommates setup to blossoming into something more. Noah, with his charming DILF vibes, and Gemma, with her endearing dilemma, make the perfect pair.
Amelie Rhys sprinkles in all the best romance tropes, from accidental pregnancy to reformed playboys, but it's the way she brings them to life that makes this book shine. You'll find yourself rooting for Gemma and Noah from the very first page.
Sure, there are some emotional moments, especially towards the end, but overall, 'Awake at Dawn' is like a cozy blanket on a chilly night—comforting, heartwarming, and oh-so-sweet.
If you're in the mood for a feel-good read that'll leave you with a smile on your face, look no further than 'Awake at Dawn.' Gemma and Noah's story will warm your heart and leave you believing in happily ever afters.

first of all i hate myself for only realising this was the second book in a series once i got it!!! not that it changed anything about how much i understood the book and loved the story! but i feel like i missed something with Juniper and Julian, like i live them so so much don’t get me wrong but i wished i got to experience their love story first !
but boy this book was good ! i mean she’s pregnant but he’s not the dad just the daddy ??? stoooooop this is exactly what i needed and i need even more now !!!
Gemma and Noah are just perfect i love them so damn much, you guys don’t even know how much i laughed reading this book, but please i grinned so hard the whole time. god i love them and i miss them so so much already. i legit cried at the end because i didn’t want it to stop !! like come on !!!
4,75⭐️ rounded to 5!!!

super adorable they where so obsessed the whole time i loved it all honeslty. giggling and kicking my feet.
awake at dawn by amelie rhys is out NOW!
this is the second in an interconnected standalone series, and while juliper has my heart forever, nemma is sure as shit putting up a good fight. i legitimately cannot choose my favorite couple.
perceived playboy noah london is a sexy as sin football player with an adorable puppy and an even more adorable niece. he’s going to need help caring for the pup while he’s on the road, and when he meets gemma, his niece’s figure skating coach who’s in a bit of a rough spot (and by rough spot i mean she’s pregnant and the baby’s “father” isn’t around) he sees the perfect plan for everyone involved.
when gemma moves in to take on dog nanny duties, they just can’t seem to stay away from each other. and why would they? besides the fact that she’s.. you know… pregnant with another man’s baby. noah may not be the dad. but he is the daddy

Gorgeous. Awake at Dawn is a triumph. I am blown away by Amelie Rhys’ ability to tell such beautiful and heartfelt stories, filled with humour and depth and joy.
Awake at Dawn touches on some incredibly difficult and painful topics and handles them all with such grace and respect. From the blurred lines of consent to unplanned pregnancy to self-worth and everything in between, there is so much more to this book than the romance.
With that being said, Gemma and Noah’s love story is a joy to experience.
From Alive at Night, I knew I loved Noah, and I was intrigued to know more about Gemma, and Awake at Dawn did not disappoint. Noah is charming and soft with such a good heart. Gemma is strong and resilient, a beautiful soul who loves as fiercely and deeply as she fights.
The London family are probably my new favourite book family. Their camaraderie and banter is unmatched, and I am DESPERATE to read more about Noah’s brothers, the rays of light that they are. I’d also love to see more of Nat’s relationship with her other brothers, so I really hope we get more books where we get to explore that. There are so many wonderful characters in this series and I want them all to find their happy ever afters on page right in front of me.
