This book gives me actual nausea but I love her

3.5/5

Words can’t describe the feelings this book left me. When I finished reading it all I could think about was how unparalleled it is in every of its aspects.
The atmosphere it created about Florence, Dante, the legend of the Piazzis as well as the food and wine and expensive lifestyle of Hannibal merged so poetically with the violence and brutality of the events taking place throughout the book giving the impression of a continuous crescendo of unexpected twists and turns.
The ending was quite auspicious and the only thing that bothered me and I felt was a little off was how Clarice’s psyche underwent such an extreme transformation and how Lecter(a certified monster) could be a company of any sort for any human being, man or woman.
