This is the fifth book in the Wheel of Time series and in my opinion it's one of the weakest so far. It felt like barely anything happened in this book and like we were just setting up future plotlines. There was also no Perrin or Faile in this book and I missed them as they are some of my favourite characters. Similar to the previous book this one also felt really long. There was also a slight return to the quest/travelling format of the earlier books in one plotline which I didn't really love. The ending was very exciting though and some very shocking things happened which makes me very excited to read the next book. Overall, this is one of the weaker books in the series but I still liked it and I am excited to continue in this series.
