Tropes/Themes:
-MF contemporary romance
-26 y/o professional hockey player (H) x 20 y/o homeless trauma survivor (h)
-Friends to lovers
-Book 2 in a series but can be read as a standalone
TWs for childhood abuse, physical and sexual assault (on page), stalking
I liked this more than Puck Me Secretly (book #1 in the series), however there were still a lot of things that didn’t work for me. Everything about the initial progression of Ryan and Zoey’s relationship made me super uncomfy. In particular, when they first met he was questioning if she was minor and then not that much later he was thinking of her as a knockout bombshell? I also thought some of the subplot related to Zoey’s past was a touch overdramatic to me (overdramatization was one of my biggest complaints about book #1). I think Odette Stone is just not an author for me. As much as I would love to see Mica get his HEA, I’m likely not going to continue on in the series.

Loved it
Like the title says, i loved it. The Vancouver wolves are becoming a favorite of mine. Zoey and Ryan were cute together. I loved that he gave her what she needed even when he didn’t want to
