This work of fiction is wholly compelling and very believable as a work of true crime. I actually spent a good portion of the book under the impression this was a true crime book!! I was wholly disgusted at the idea of the photos being used like that.
I felt pretty dumb when I realized it was actually fiction! But also grateful, and in a state of awe.

Richard is a little wordy and so nostalgic over the top. I liked the made up murders in my hometown idea but I thought the characters he made up (himself & Carly- ugh) plus the Serial Killer - so many questions he simply did not answer than why allude to them. He made them up for goodness sake. Especially the”number” clues! Why?!
