Finished in a single day. A wonderfully written page turner written in true crime format…except it’s fiction. You will, like me, often forget it’s fiction while reading this clever book. Creative and compelling. One of my favorite reads of the year for sure.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator was okay. In my opinion, he sometimes came across as bland and little dry.

Amazing blend of non-fiction true crime and horror fiction! Fully immersive and detailed.
This is a pretty decent story, however, there are a lot of sections that could have been left out as they don’t add much to the case the author is making. When the storyline moves away from the facts of the cases and the Boogeyman himself, it gets very slow and sometimes hard to read. Overall, the story was intriguing but not one I would likely revisit.

I loved this book and read it as fast I could. A fascinating, terrifying and gripping mix of fiction and facts, a story written as a true crime that kept me turning pages.
It's highly entertaining and riveting, a very original concept that i loved.
The author is a talented storyteller and I hope he will write other books as good as this.
