Hoo damn I loved this! I've never read anything by Tarryn Fisher but Colleen Hoover is my shit and I've hovered over the "Add to Cart" button on all three parts of this story every once in a while on and off for years now ever since I first discovered CoHo in 2015.
The thing that finally made me pull the trigger was the Audible Romance Package, though, which made all three books "free."
I loved everything to do with this novella, though, hot damn. I loved the setup, because Colleen never (never) deviates from reality, at least when it comes to the realm of possibility; obviously some of the scenarios she usually comes up with are a little farfetched, but I really enjoyed the twist of unreality paired with Colleen's and Tarryn's writing here.
I'm getting genuinely antsy as I write this review to move on to Part 2 and find out what happens next, as well as what happened before this mess as well as this iteration of Charlie and Silas began, so this is where I'll leave you for now. Onward!

It’s like Colleen is incapable of story character development wtf
This is exactly why I don't like to read books unless the whole series is complete. Holy mother of all cliffhangers, I'd like to scream.
Other than that, great book! Can't wait for the next one.

Interesting concept, interesting characters and it's very short and fast to read, so you should check it out.
This is the second time that I have read Never Never and I enjoyed it just as much this second go around. There is so much mystery surrounding Silas and Charlie and every time I think I have something figured out, I get thrown for an even bigger loop.
One of my favorite aspects of this book is how Charlie and Silas learn about themselves through other people and how they don't always like the people they were. Especially Charlie. Her memory loss is a wake up call for bad behavior.
I also think Silas is adorable and I love how he feels about Charlie and seeing that glimpse into how things may have been prior to the entire forgetting everything episode. And if Charlie doesn't want him he can be my new book boyfriend

How do you expect me to be able to wait for the second book with that ending???
I wasn't that excited about the story, I read the whole book, but somehow it still didn't "pull me in".
4 Never Star’s
I waited to read these until they were all done, so I could just read them all together… So glad I did, because that cliffy was MEAN.
Charlie & Silas have lost their memories of themselves, and each other but also their family and friends. Yet somethings remain. Lyrics to songs, names of celebrities, driving, password for a laptop and so forth but nothing of who or what happened to them to make them this way. And it’s not easy “waking up” alone.
‘I close my eyes and pull away from her. I run my hands through her hair, the frustration of the day catching up to me. I can make light of it all with my jokes. I can dismiss her theories – from tarot readings to fairy tales – simply because it doesn’t make sense to me. But she’s right. None of this makes sense.’
They know they are a couple by the way people talk about them but they remember nothing, but the feeling when they are together those confuse them. It’s a pull like none other they are drawn to each other for no other reason that it feels right.
‘When we lock eyes, I feel like I’m meeting a brand new side of her. A side of her without resolve. A vulnerable side. A side that’s allowing herself to feel something. I want to grin and ask her how it feels to be in love, but I know teasing her in this moment would piss her off and she’d walk away and I can’t let that happen.’

The whole story line was odd. If another comes out I don’t intend on reading it.
