Honestly these are all just so cute and I die. I'm also in a slump that apparently only includes new adult books

What I have enjoyed about this series has been it's mix of fun, relationship building, and romance. This installment relied a little too heavily on sex for me. It was still an enjoyable read but I liked the other two Dearest novels much more.

I like this one better than the second because I enjoyed Madi but the first is still my favorite. Cute series!

I enjoyed Maddie and Daren. I thought it was just a little bit longer then it needed to be. At the first couple chapters I thought of putting it down but once Maddie and Daren became involved I was fully in it and loving it.

I adore the Dearest series, it's so good. Kissing Madeline is possibly my favorite, but it is so difficult to choose.
And there's definitely spin-off material in here, like the Dearest version of the K and B Ritchies' Like Us series.

Darren and Madeline. First round draft pick, Heisman winner, and ex-boyfriend of Clementine. Budding journalist.

His life revolves around football. Her life revolves around her work.

His last girlfriend lied to him. Her last boyfriend cheated on her.

His dad lied. Her dad was killed on the job.

She isn't going to trust him due to her past. He's distracted and doesn't want to tell her the truth.

Jacob's video is leaked, and then gifs of D&M are also leaked. Turns out, Brad is a stalker.

Everything (the doubt, the secrets, the lack of a true foundation and the inability to trust) is magically resolved and they live happily ever after.

Quick review: (too tired for a long one)

I loved the other two books in this series, but I wasn't so sure about Daren's. But I really liked it. Maddie and Daren are great main characters, have amazing chemistry and I enjoyed the way they were written.
It's also nice to see some of the rest of the gang.
The book was very enjoyable. There may have been no real suprises and the ending was a teeny tiny bit too mushy, but most of these books do and it didn't ruin the story for me at all :)

This started out as a good read. I couldn't give it 5 stars because come on now Madeline......you let Nicole the bitch of a coworker into your home unsupervised.......really madeline, really.

Then you feel a weird vibe from your techy co-worker. You think you see your laptop webcam on but carry on having sex with your hot boyfriend.

But I was able to finish the story so 3 stars it is.

I’ll give it a solid 3 as well! Cute and cheesy but again, some of the language bothered me. The ending and epilogue was very sweet, I liked Maddie and Daren together and the way their relationship progressed.
