Didn't like the style of writing, too much medical terminology

If you're coming to this from the TV show, be aware that the tone is VERY different - much darker and grittier than the show.

This book was pretty suspenseful, and I didn't figure out who the killer was ahead of time. The thing I didn't like about this story was that there was too much medical and technical mumbo jumbo.

While I like the character of Rizzoli better on television than I do in this book, I still enjoyed the book. The story kept me interested and even the manner of the crime was interesting, because its different from other mystery novels I've read. I hope the book version of Rizzoli grows on me because I really want to continue reading the series.
