usually not a fan of dark romance but this one managed to make want to read more. i think this is the perfect book for anyone wanting to get started on dark romance. its more on the lighter side.
anyways this book captured me like no other and was immediately hooked from the beginning. i love how stone and wren have a “i love you but i wished i hated you” type of relationship. not mention how stone is literally a possessive but i love you type of bf and is even A HOCKEY PLAYER!! anywho a definite recommendation <3

If you are a fan of friends to enemies to lovers, opposites attract, rich guy x poor girl, thrown in with some dark hockey romance, this book is absolutely for you.
Stone and Wren’s relationship in this was built up so well. Stone wanted to hate Wren for a previous mistake she made that ruined his life, but instead found himself becoming her biggest protector. I’m talking this man was always ready to throw hands for the one girl he promised to hate.
Watching him slowly come to realise his feelings for the girl sharing his bedroom - yep sharing one bed (while her foster brothers room is down the hallway) was the level of intense we needed.
Wren’s past was heartbreaking, so be prepared for that story but finally being able to let her guard down for the one boy she never imagined she would was perfection.
There’s drama, banter, spice, and the forced proximity is so good you will be hoovering this down in a day.

Enemies to lovers, brothers best friend, their roommates, AND a hockey romance?! Immediately yes!!
The minute SJ and Sara teased they were working on a cowrite I was ready to devour whatever it would be. Then they announced a dark hockey romance and I was so freaking excited!
The book starts off seeing our two main characters Stone & Wren in high school and you see what event happens that makes Stone hate Wren. Then fast forward to when they’re in college and Wren goes to live with her foster brother only to find out she has to share a room with Stone. Both of them are not happy about this situation and many things take place to try to get the other to move out. I love how Wren twisted something Stone did to her and found a great way to push him over the edge
