Was this series well written? not really. Did it have a super great story arch? meh.
Was this a good wrap up to the 6 book series? Yes
Do I still have questions about the resistance and why they exist? absolutely.

Don't recommend reading this books back to back to back or it gets a bit repetitive. They were an easy read and a great way to get 6 books done for my reading challenge. I think this series is exactly what you expect but I was pleased with the way it ended in book 6.

Content Warnings: sexual content, blood, violence, kidnapping, murder, torture, death of parent[s], toxic relationships, and toxic friendships.
Mention of: child abuse, child sexual assault, and trauma.

Idk if I just ran through the series too fast...but I was a bit disappointed with the action parts of this book 🙈 I was expecting a bigger grand finally/final boss fight. It was still awesome and I love all the character development and the evolution of the bond group...but yeah I was expecting a bit more.

Okay ending to the series - still questions that were never answered like what Oli’s third gift is. It’s mentioned several times throughout other books but never elaborated on.

Wish we got to know more about her parents so when she scatters their ashes it was more impactful.

This was my least favorite of the series. The issues from the previous book that I had with the development of the god-bond storyline didn’t really get any better. The world-building suffers quite a bit from this and so the where/why/when of the god-bonds is never quite clear to me. So I didn’t feel as invested in their defeat. Nor did I ever think the MCs might not prevail.

I did enjoy the continued evolution of Oli and Nox, as well as Atlas. Gryphon was my favorite early on but he just felt sort of irrelevant in this book, even with his family story arc. North too. Gabriel remains a bright spot though.

The spicy scenes were good though they often felt rushed.

Oil’s friendship with Sage and Sawyer’s bond group also seemed underdeveloped in this one.

All of that said
I was glad Oli got her HEA and that the epilogue didn’t have her with kids already.

I think this was the first one without negative self-commentary on FMC's body? Finally!

Worthy end to the series, though reading it all in one go, it felt a little like this was jumping the shark a bit. I'm still not totally sure what the Resistance was resisting against, exactly, and why...? So that's annoying. Probably should have taken some breaks in between books to make it less intense though.

But, lots of spice, some good scenes, twists, and turns, and emotions (
though Vivian's death was a bit unnecessary??
). Liked the HEA, and many many plus points for NOT being pregnant in the epilogue.
