The first two books included in this are amazing. But "A man named Dave" kinda lost me when he repeatedly called his complicit father a "good man". Also before he left for war he told his 4 year-old kid to be "the man of the house" - Bro???? Anyway 2/3 of these volumes are great tho.

When I was about 10, without permission, I'd steal these books at night off the bookshelf to read them because all the 'adults' were raving about them. I wouldn't recommend doing that if you're 10.
