Unfurl was my introduction to Elodie Hart. That book spoke to me because like Belle, I’ve lived through some religious trauma. Each subsequent book in the series has been equally good, and Untether is no exception.
Callum Sinclair is the consummate bachelor with no plans to change that anytime soon. As one of 4 co-owners of the sex club Alchemy, he works in his literal playground.
Aida Russell is one of London’s top reporters and beloved by the people. When one of her now ex-husband’s mistresses outs him publicly, Aida is humiliated. She and her marriage have become fodder for the tabloids. As a result, she takes control and turns the tables to create her own narrative.
She decides to film a documentary about women over 40 and how they can own their sexuality. To do this, she enlists Alchemy and their Unfurl program with Callum (10 years her junior) stepping in to be her mentor.
As she embarks on her journey to rebuild her life, own her sexuality and encourage other women over 40 to do the same, she discovers that it’s okay to pivot. It’s okay to give a giant middle finger to other’s expectations of you. It’s okay to not care what other people think of you. It’s okay to conclude that what you thought you wanted wasn’t it at all. Most importantly, it’s okay to be your authentic self even if that doesn’t conform to societal norms.
Callum is with her in every step of her journey. He encourages her to not be ashamed of what she desires and she, in turn, encourages him to stop holding back his authentic self with her. The result? Explosive.
As with every book in this series the spice is next level, but you also get a well-developed story line with interesting and well-written characters.

Honestly I don't know where to begin with this book it was so good. It was liberating in a way I'm not sure how to explain.
Our FMC Aida is 46 and has recently come from a messy Divorce. He cheated on her and it caused her to be dragged through the mud. She decided to make a documentary to show her reclaiming her sexuality. To show women that they aren't invisible. This is where the smex club alchemy came into play she asked if she could film parts of her journey while on their unfurl program.
In comes the MMC Cal, he's a notorious playboy and he's been my favourite character throughout the series. When Gen asks him to take Aida under his wing he jumps at the chance. There starts their journey together and I'm there for it. While Aida isn't his usual smexual partner he starts to fall for her.
Bonus about this book there isn't a third act break up. I'm really glad about it because the book didn't need it. It was handling quite a few topics very sensitively and I never wanted it to end.
I loved the interactions between Cal and his friends honestly this book just made me fall in love with all the characters even more. We saw some more of Belle and Rafe, Zach and Maddy and more of Gen and Anton. My favourite part was reading about Cal and Aida acknowledging their feelings for eachother and having an actual adult conversation about their fears. It felt so real.
