Where the previous books were a bit heavier, focusing more on religious trauma and grief. This book was a lot lighter, Aida recently went through a divorce. Her sex life was never very interesting. But at 46 years old she wanted to explore it further. She works as a broadcast journalist and she got the opportunity to make a document about her path to reclaim her sexuality. She got in contact with the exclusive club Alchemy to help her on her journey. through the unfurl program she got paired up with one of the owners Cal. Cal is definitely alpha, but also a big cinnamon roll.
Once you start reading you won’t be able to put it down.
I love how all the books in this series are very sexpositive, there is a great communication between the characters. And the women in these book are being empowered to explore their sexuality.

I enjoyed this book so much! I loved the overall message of the book and that is that no matter how old you are, your desires and the way you want to live your life are all your own. We can’t let people and society make those decisions for us and we need to grab life by the reins and make ourselves happy. Aida did just that when she decided to document how women in their mid 40’s are still sexual beings and want to feel desired and have their desires met. She wanted to prove to herself and the people who judged her that she wasn’t a door mat and could go and get her needs met in a way she saw fit. Enter Cal. Part owner of Alchemy, an exclusive club, and notorious playboy. He was tasked with helping Aida find herself and help her get to know exactly what it is she wants from a partner. These two had instant chemistry. Cal had been following her work for years (she is a well-known news reporter) and he has always been in awe of her. She is extremely driven, beautiful and has the type of personality that instantly draws people in. When Cal was tasked with helping Aida, he didn’t know how much he would like being around her and how he could only think of her when they weren’t together. Aida was just recently divorced and wasn’t looking for a relationship, especially with a man ten years younger than her, but the universe works in mysterious ways. They were both out of their depth and soon found out that if they navigated the waters together, then they would figure it out as they went. Cal was so quick to make sure Aida knew how beautiful she was, not only on the outside but on the inside and that she was incredibly desirable. The spicy scenes between them were off the charts and I loved the fact that she was older than him. It brought a whole other dynamic that should be in more books because it was fire! Great read!

Book 4! Could be read as a stand-alone, but I really think you'd enjoy seeing the growth that Cal has from when we first meet him.
I really, really enjoyed this one! I was THRILLED that this one was reverse age gap. Honestly, we don't have enough in romance.
Cal has been watching all of his co-workers fall in love one by one. He's a playboy, a great guy, but he's never been one to commit. So when he's offered a role in helping a pretty famous reporter in "getting back to her," he jumps at the chance.
Aida is great, but she's recently been involved in a VERY public divorce where her husband was unfaithful. But instead of laying down, she's exploring what it means to be still a sexual person. And she needs help from someone who's very experienced.

Cal is funny, passionate, swoon worthy and the biggest golden retriever boyfriend.... Which surprised me in the best way. I frikking adore him.
Our FMC Aida reclaims her sexuality but also herself. She realises she's more than just a mum, just a celebrity, just a divorcee. I loved her acceptance of herself beyond those labels.
