This is the fourth book in the series and I’m having some issues with the timeline and ages given, it just doesn’t seem to be correct or it’s always changing. Really odd, that said the story was good. I could defo get on Aida’s plan and reclaiming bits of herself, I do feel like the story needed a bit more depth though.

I still don’t really know much about Cal and to be honest the same could be said for the other stories, with the exception of the religious stuff in Rafe’s book and despair and grief in Zach’s it’s all a bit…wah like something is truly lacking.

I’m continuing because I want to complete the series.

I adored this installment of the Alchemy series.

The first few were so super sexy, but also had heavy elements, dealing with religious guilt, death and grieving, and divorce and shaming. This one was just mostly fun and a call for women everywhere to take back their sexuality.

Aita is a woman scorned, a 40 something-year-old divorced woman whose famous rich husband cheated on her. She needs to do everything she can to show everybody that she is still a hot sexual woman. she teams up with Cal at Alchemy to put on a TV documentary about sex after divorce in your forties.

There's very little angst, there's no third act breakup. There's just sex and lust and more sex and love. It's quite delightful.

You do not have to read the rest of them but I would because other characters make appearances and it just makes more sense if you know who they are.

The audiobook was done very well. Kylie Stewart and Will M. Watt have done a fantastic job throughout. It's done in dual narration but they do a very good job. No complaints here.

Great series. Liked the younger man older woman narrative
