Too heavy-handed on religion, but an interesting idea.

2 1/2 stars, leaning more towards the 3 star mark. It was a good book. Depressing and sad but very good. It was interesting enough to keep me reading. The only thing that I did not like about this book was how religious it became towards the end.
SpoilerI'm not saying that it was bad that Jeremy turned to religion in the end of the book, in fact that is to be expected when having experiences such as he had. what bothered me was the whole "If you ask God to forgive you, then you will get to live." bit at the end.
That is what really turned me off of the book.
