This was so hard to finish and made me so disappointed! The first book was so good!! This one was really lacking in plot and romance, the was very bland compared to the first novel. I don’t even think I was to know what happens next. Okay maybe I do but I hope it’s better than this one! I loved the idea of little mermaid re-telling, but I wish this book had more! It was a very short book 3 1/2 hours worth but it took me days because it was just not interesting. Basically Tallora and Duriel reunite, have s*x and she leaves with out giving away to much, but really that’s it!

It's a fun read, but kind of lost me in the middle with all the scheming. I'm not sure I ever fully understood who all these people were. Dauriel is a cool, moral monster though. I dig it
