I was lucky enough to read an earlier version of this book, and I have no doubt that the finished copy will be even better. Claire Legrand has created a fabulous world that has just the right amount of eerie intensity and is filled with interesting characters. CAVENDISH is a fun and creepy book that I can't wait to have on my shelves! (Official review to come when the real thing comes out!)
definitely not something I usually read but I love Claire Legrand’s writing so I had to give it a go, and I really enjoyed it! it was creepy, had awesome character development, and the friendships were so heartwarming
Spooky and thrilling with some of my favorite elements in a story: a spooky house, things not as they seem, great atmosphere. This would be a fun movie. Lots of mystery, it reminded me a little of Nightbooks.
