I had forgotten how much fun these books are! I don’t think I’ve read a Wayside book in about 25 years; since I was in elementary school. I listened to the audiobook at the end of the first week of school. And the 2020-21 school year already feels like we’re under a cloud of doom. It was the perfect piece of fun and nostalgia to make the week better.

I reread the entire series in honor of this book coming out. I have to say, it does well at continuing the series. All the characters are unique and funny, and I love how little details from one story will surface later in others. Like goozack.

Louis Sachar is one of the most hilarious authors I’ve ever read, if not the most.

I am so excited there is another installment of Wayside School. I had such a great time reading them to the 6 year old and she loved them too.
All the characters were back and as goofy as ever. The story line was super fun and I loved the ending.

It was fun to revisit Wayside School. This is a must read for fans of the series, or anyone looking for some light-hearted humor. It does use the word "stupid" a lot. For grades 2 & up.

I feel bad about this rating because I'm clearly no longer the target age for these books but I loved loved loved Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger and this just felt like a nothingburger.

What a charming, fun addition to the Wayside School books. Despite all the years since the last, much less the first, Wayside story, Cloud of Doom is just as clever and amusing as its predecessors. Getting new stories about the students of Mrs. Jewls' class is a nostalgic treat I never imagined, and it's exactly as enjoyable as I'd hoped.

Between two jobs and full-time school it's been difficult to find time to read, but you bet I pre-ordered this. It was nice to have something quick & easy to read. It doesn't quite compare to the first three that I read a gazillion times but I still give it 4/5 stars.

Silly, but in a good funny way. Look forward to sharing it with my girls.

A new silly Wayside book, with difficult tests (like how to spell "thrubbledup," which is when you count to three but fall asleep in the middle)
