This book really reflected Indian middle class society. The bickering, the egotistical mindset of the elders. Really perfectly potrayed the minds of people who just earned a lupsum of money. Excellently and wittily written book. I urge everyone to once give it a chance

Engaging story but not sure what to think of it. I found the ending quite abrupt but appreciated this slice of life look and discussions of wealth and violence against women. Though looking at reviews, I think I missed a lot of the undertones in my audiobook listen…

Can't really recommend this. Unfortunately, I got this recommended to me.

Doesn't feel like I got anything in return for reading this book.

A quick, compelling read, picked up for TSG’s very own translation challenge (it was translated from
Kannada).

I was intrigued the whole way, though left a little bit wanting.

Looking for a “read in one sitting over the weekend” sorta book? I recommend this one!
