I can’t explain how happy this book made me all while making me believe that love is not a real thing. This book went beyond my expectations, I originally picked it up because I was bored and saw so many people on tiktok recommended it (best decision ever). You fall in love with the characters within the first few chapters. The main characters make you desperately cheer for them. The last chapters made me so emotional to see how much they both changed in a few hundred pages, I had tears in my eyes at the end. Despite this being a 5/5, there is something I did not like about it. The fact that the word ‘sex’ is a replacement for the word ‘vagina’ but that is the only con I can think of. I would still record this to so many people

I really enjoyed this!! Definitely my favorite part as it (justifiably) seems to be for so many other people is how sex positive it is - I really appreciated seeing that and seeing Clara’s character growth in learning more about sex and porn
Also so random but as someone with a really bad anxiety about driving it was kinda really nice to read about someone reading and conquering their feat of that
Not sure why this wasn’t a 5 star or 4.75 star book for me but even though it wasn’t I still really loved it and would recommend it :)

This was fine. A cheesy, romantic, misguidingly hopeful insight into the lives of people who can just choose to do what they want, and the consequences don’t really matter. I’m not a huge fan of the “she’s so innocent and he’s not” trope, it can be a little tired. That being said, Clara did grow into her opinions and had the most character growth out of anyone. But, my favourite was Naomi.

do I believe that someone who has never had many relationships would be automatically okay with dating a porn star? No. It could happen, sure but a lot more people would be nervous about it. Also, them taking down a huge name in the Sex Industry…relatively easily? Sure.
I know books aren’t always meant to be realistic but that one was a bit much for me.

It was steamy, that’s for sure. It wasn’t written the best, the sex scenes were a bit ridiculous but yknow I’m all for empowering women and being sec positive. So for those themes, 2 stars.
