This story revolves around a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Just as rehearsals begin, Lucy decides to help the local bookstore's assistant Alice strike up a romance with her boss. When Lucy's love potion is drunk by more than Charlie, the fun begins. Everyone "falls" in love with the wrong person.
These mysteries are not difficult to solve and are always fun to read.

There were some editing errors in the edition I listened to and the love triangle is getting a little tedious for my taste. However, the witchy parts were cute and the mystery was engaging (for a cosy), though if you don't like mysteries where you can't figure out the ending yourself, this book wouldn't be a great fit for you.

More of the same as all the other books in the series...
Light-hearted silliness echoing midsummer night's dream, multiple Americanisms in the description of student life at Oxford (British characters calling it school, talking about having roommates and shared rooms, talk of getting academic credit for being in a play...)
I guessed the murderer a little before the reveal but there was enough doubt/misleads to keep it interesting.
(Minor spoilers)
I was disappointed to see Meri being ousted as the assistant already, the searching for a new one each time is getting repetitive but hopefully that will settle down soon.
I wasn't a huge fan of the Charlie/Alice romance resolution but I'm sure it appeals to some readers!
