I can’t handle another book that has mental illness as a crime plot twist , no thank you

Super creepy suspense! A woman in a quiet suburban neighborhood suspects her new neighbor is a murderer but no one believes her...but he knows that she knows. Taut and fast-paced. Read my full review at Shelf Awareness:

Solid! Peter Swanson is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. While I definitely liked The Kind Worth Killing’ more, this book incorporates his similar style of writing for a interesting and engaging story.
I definitely should not have entered with too many expectations, as I anticipated numerous twists, such as those featured in the previously mentioned novel. While there are a couple, they pale in comparison to this previous work, but I definitely cannot fault the book for that. I really don’t have complaints, the book was just okay for me. Not stellar, but by no means bad. A solid option for readers who have read his previous works.

Literally could not believe the twist because it was so silly, I didn’t know we were still using that one, even in 2019…

I had to sleep on this to really think about my thoughts on it but overall I definitely liked it. A good twist for sure. However I wish the “final twist” was a bit punchier and I would have really loved the book. Overall an easy afternoon read
