Ma ei mäleta, et oleksin lugenud raamatut, kus kohe esimestel lehekülgedel on mõrvar teada. Selline mõttekäik on minu jaoks üsna tavatu, aga samas oli huvitav lugeda, kuidas asjad lõpuks kulgevad. Kuigi ise me eelistan pigem teadmatust kuni raamatu lõpuni, tekitab rohkem närvikõdi.

Hen ja Lloyd kolisid uude majja, kus Hen saaks rahulikult kodu lähedal ateljees illustraatorina töötada. Lisaks on tal nooruspõlvest peale bipolaarne häire, mida ta hoiab ravimitega kontrolli all. Ravimeid on vaja, sest tal on ebaterve huvi lahendamata mõrvade vastu, mis minevikus tekitas talle psühhootilise episoodi.

Elu tundub ilus ja rahulik, kuni naabritega kohtumiseni. Naabriks on mõrvar, kelle kinni püüdmine muutub Hen’i kinnisideeks. Kuidas siseneda mõrvari mõttemaailma ja proovida lahendada antud müsteerium.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. A true thriller (not a whodunit) that kept me turning pages.

'The Kind Worth Killing' is my favorite Peter Swanson novel, and I also enjoyed the follow-up 'The Kind Worth Saving'. I have also read two of his other books, this one and 'Eight Perfect Murders', both of which I thought were not as good as 'The Kind Worth Killing'. This book was ok. It's readable, but there's nothing really remarkable about it. Plus, I guessed the twist, which took the book down an extra star for me. Many people have really liked this book though, so check out the other reviews.
