People are never who they seem to be. Crazy intense ending that blows anything you thought was happening in the book out of the water. Did not see that one coming!! My only criticism is that the book drags at a few parts, but overall a great thriller!
It was good. Took a bit to get into it but once I was the pages, and minutes, seemed to fly by
This one was pretty disappointing for me. The twists seemed pretty obvious to me from early on. And there was no uncertainty between the characters—it was like they were all omniscient, already aware of everything the others did and thought. There are also several loose ends that just get thrown at you and never resolved; almost like an afterthought.
I love Swanson’s books!! So twisty and fun to read. I did guess the big “twist” at the end pretty early on, but that didn’t ruin the plot for me. Great thriller!

This was just way too predictable to me. Within the first chapter you’re hinted to the ending and there isn’t much that persuades you to think otherwise. Also some unrealistic scenarios.
Swanson takes the reader inside the mind of a serial killer. The story is equally chilling and gripping. This one reads and plays out like a horror film. Because of this, there were times I wasn’t sure I could read anymore, but I couldn’t stop! I needed to find out how it all ended. 4 stars for Before She Knew Him. I will be on the lookout for more novels by Peter Swanson.
