4.5* This was so good!! I kept listening to just “one more chapter” to see what was going to happen next. I think to up it another notch (5 stars) would have involved more from Mira; I liked that we got some insight from her towards the end but I thought to help get a more rounded understanding of their relationship Mira’s voice would’ve been great. I definitely didn’t predict the twist but absolutely loved it. I was rooting for Hen the entire time!!
3.5-4 stars. A few parts felt rushed, but overall had an ending I didn’t expect.
This book was ok. I did enjoy it, but it was pretty predictable and I was waiting for some big dramatic plot twist which didn't really happen. I did enjoy it, but not a top favorite.

I listened to this book while I was hiking and it kept my interest the entire time. I listened to it at 2x the normal speed. I usually listen to books at a faster speed, but this one definitely needed it because the narrator talked really slowly.
I was afraid this book was going to be another predictable “unreliable narrator” story but was pleasantly surprised. The twists did not seemed forced or just there for the shock value like many thrillers
