I read this right after Birds of California and is may have suffered from not being about Sam and Fiona. I enjoyed the friends to lovers, but was a bit over it by the end

This was refreshing in that there wasn't any bad language nor any salacious scenes. It was somewhat predictable and I would have liked a little more show instead of tell, but overall a nice story.

This was a super cute, easy read! I loved the second chance romance trope, along with the friends to lovers vibes as well. It’s definitely on the lighter side, and while maybe I would have liked to have had some flashback scenes with Liv and Ransom to understand who they were the. vs who they are now, I did enjoy what parts of their relationship we were given.
I don’t know that I completely connected with the characters, and I’m not sure if it was because of the lack of flashback scenes to give a more rounded perspective on the characters, or if it was simply because it was a shorter book.
However I still thoroughly enjoyed this light read, and I’d be interested in any other romances written by the author in the future!

This one was cute. Loved the childhood friends/celebrity tropes. It  had a lot of elements I really love but it  was just okay for me.

This is a closed door/fade to black romance with moderate langauge and innuendo.

A breezy light read. Somebody somewhere will love this reality TV drama vibe, and it does offer up some commentary on things that matter, but I personally would prefer a little more substance.
