A very cool story and I definitely want to read the next book asap! Country girl goes to palace to undertake trials and save her sister, full of palace intrigue, assassins, coup plots, and also new friends and a romantic subplot. 

The best parts are the beautiful descriptions of the tea and the GORGEOUS cover! 

There were times I got lost for a bit, not understanding who or what something was (the gods, the politicians, etc). Not sure if that was an editing issue or the fact that I was reading this during medical treatment appointments. And I could really have used a map at the beginning to help me picture the different regions! But it didn’t stop me from enjoying the story overall.
