Greta Thunberg is wise beyond her years, and is able to speak frankly and clearly without mincing her words, due to her autism. This is her absolute super power. She does not every let anyone fool her, sees the world clearly, and has the ability to see through political lies and bu**s**t, which has ultimately made her such a good public speaker for the climate crisis.

Throughout her speeches she refutes a lot of the falsities spread about her, such as her parents making her do this, or that she does not write her own speeches. She stresses that she is only repeating the scientific facts of other climate specialists several times, to make clear to her listeners that she is not claiming to have the answers. She is not knowledgeable beyond her years, simply an activist who is standing up for what is right during a crisis. She cannot provide solutions, but rallies us to ask the government to work with those who could.

She makes us face shocking facts and harsh realities with her frankness, and with her very powerful resonate and emotive language. She should be proud of how much work she has done, and I advise that everyone read this collection of speeches.

This was okay, but speeches are better watched for a reason, and putting them all in one place makes them repetitive. Definitely did leave me a bit more fired up about climate action though.

I completely back Greta Thunberg and think what she's doing is hugely admirable. Climate change is being discussed more than ever before and the grown-ups are being forced to take notice.

I would've liked a longer version of the book with maybe more thorough recommendations for solutions, but I do understand that she isn't asking the politicians to discuss solutions with her, she wants them to listen to the scientists and start working with them. She's just a child after all, as she herself repeatedly states.

I don't think this book will sell many "Greta-haters" on the reality of climate change or bring them round to her way of thinking, as it is severely lacking in solid facts, but it's an easy-to-consume introduction to the issue of climate change for any potential activists.

This book is a collection of speeches that give some much needed perspective on the climate crisis! I think everyone should read this just to be aware of the issues that will unavoidably face us in the future, and to know where to look to better educate yourself on the inevitable challenge which is coming our way!!
