Probably my favorite Ellen Hopkins. its just very relatable. although the eventual romantic plotline that grows isn't one I ever liked. ha

Wow!!!! What a completely breathtaking book! Just another story of adults that have completely and utterly failed children. It pisses me off that these kids are driven to suicide by the adults in their lives.

This book highlights the struggles of trying to overcome trauma and finding real love. How do you love another when you have never been shown love? And Connors parents, fuck those guys!

This is the third Ellen Hopkins book I've read, and while I am always interested in the blurbs on the back, the plots always fail to hold me. I don't know whether it's the verse, the unbelievable unsympathetic characters, or the overly pretentious language, but I almost can't take it seriously. This book wasn't what I expected, and certainly not in a good way.
Also, I hate that Tony got into the stereotype of being gay because of abuse. Like that is literally the only reason he identifies as gay in the beginning.
I could rant about this book all day, but I think I'm gonna go read something else to take my mind off of it.

I stopped reading about 20% in. There were a lot of people to keep track of and I did not enjoy the author's writing style.

Good but bad ending

3.5 stars. Kind of upsetting how a character dies and it was anticlimactic. I am actually disappointed. More disappointed than I thought.

Wow She's done it again, with just a few words to a page, Hopkins gets her point across VERY succinctly.
