Prepare to be hooked from the first page with 'One of Us Is Next' by Karen M. McManus! This captivating YA thriller serves as a gripping sequel to 'One of Us Is Lying' and takes us back to the familiar town of Bayview. The story revolves around a new game of truth or dare that quickly escalates into a dangerous and deadly ordeal for the students involved.

The narrative is expertly crafted, shifting perspectives between Maeve, Phoebe, and Knox, among others, which keeps the tension high and the reader engrossed. McManus skillfully delves into the complex lives of the characters, each harboring their own secrets and motives, making them relatable and compelling.

With an abundance of unexpected twists and turns, the plot will keep you guessing until the final pages. The author weaves together a web of suspense, slowly unraveling the truth behind the mysterious stalker who's targeting the students. The reveal of the stalker's identity left me stunned. Be prepared for a jaw-dropping revelation that will leave you gasping!

I wholeheartedly recommend 'One of Us Is Next' to anyone who enjoys thrilling mysteries with a dash of romance. It's an addictive read that will have you flipping pages well into the night.

More like a 3.5⭐
The story was so interesting from the beginning. The appearance of the bayview four made it all better but the main three were enough! Although I predicted who started it all, the last chapter was a complete shock to me (still thought it made no sense). I still think One Of Us Is Lying was better... The plot was more shocking and the characters (the ogs) were my favourite!
