The sticky table made sliding her glass closer to her quite a task. The bar was buzzing with people and everyone seemed to be having the best time… everyone but her. Her life was good. Her job was fulfilling and she had great friends, but she was missing that special someone to have by her side.
Seven Exes is a romance following Esther. Her love life is in the dumps and when she stumbles upon an article in a magazine about the different types of exes in her life she wonders if any of them had been “the one” and she missed out.
The concept of this book was intriguing and I liked following along with Esther as she reunited with all of her exes. There were funny moments, profound findings, and it was a good read for me. A good reminder to find the joys in life, to be thankful for the good you have, and to fight for friendships that you can’t live without.

Eh. It could’ve been half as long? I didn’t love where the plot went? The second Nick was introduced i knew he’d be “the one” … it was fine! I was in it more for the best friends if I’m being honest.
After listening to half an hour of the FMC's internal dialogue, I understand why she's single.
