Weakest of the series

Enjoy the interactions and always need an easy fun read. I never cared about the characters nor the stakes, but still a solid palet cleanser

4.5*
The third installment of the Rogues of the Republic book series is probably the most personal and smartly constructed of the 3. The themes of love, family, and honour are always present and the plot twists abound. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to finish it! I'm not sure if there will be a 4th volume but if there isn't it was a fine finale I must say.

This series is such fun, while at the same time being damn awesome. I love that (almost) everyone got their happy ending. There were a little too many moving parts, and I was also reading a little too fast, given that I was reading during work hours, but hey, that's on me. Loch is such an amazing leader, but she has her blind spots, which is why she has the rest of her team - plus an amazing boyfriend. I was hoping for some kind of second epilogue at the end, but had to make do with just the one. An excellent trilogy with adventure, humour and romance.

A very satisfying conclusion to the triliogy; and I do hope they have more adventures!

Did you like the first two?

Good. Me too.

This one won't disappoint you either.

This was a great end to the trilogy. It didn't stray far from the formula that made the first two books popular, and it didn't really have to either, the books were just straight up fun to read.

Funny, imaginative, and a collection of characters that go as good together as peanut butter and chocolate. And who in their right minds dislike peanut butter and chocolate?

Would love to see more of this world and the people that live within it - but at the same time - the three books were just enough for me to be left satisfied with the overall story.

Good times! Thanks, Patrick Weekes.
