This duology is absolutely mind-blowing. I love Carlos Hernandez's writing, character and world building, and tactful gradual release of life lessons. This is an amazing series for preteens and young ones but also I enjoyed this so much, every adult needs to read it as well. It's got some wonderful examples of healthy parenting and educating as well. Stunning stunning stunning book!!!
